Stock Availability

We carry most of the new releases/popular items in stock, but offer the complete range of each manufacturer we list,giving you the opportunity to order older kits that you may not find in model shops.As we place regular orders with our suppliers these kits are normaly dispatched within our 1-10 day target, however there may be a delay in dispatch and this could take up to 28 days. If this is the case we will inform you staright away and at this point you can decide if you wish to leave the item on order or take a refund.

If an item shows "out of stock  please enquire" on our website it usualy means this is out of stock with our suppliers and may take longer to aquire. Our system does allow for out of stock orders but if there is doubt please feel free to enquire first.

Dispatch Times

All orders are usualy dispatched within 1-10 days.

When an order is placed it will automatically reserve stock for you.

If for any reason there is a problem with your order we will contact you. This may increase the dispatch time beyond the targeted 10 days.

Payments

We can accept all major credit cards through PayPal.

Along with PayPal we accept Cheques and Postal Orders.

When you click ‘Proceed to Payment’ from the final checkout stages you’ll be presented with two payment options, ‘PayPal’ and ‘Print Order Form’.

If you wish to pay by credit card or Paypal use the Paypal Option.

If you wish to pay by cheque or Postal Order use the print order option and send your payment along with a copy of your order.

All Cheques and Postal Orders should be made payable to Ask Models.

We advise you not to send physical money in the post, but if you do please send it by registered or special delivery to ensure it can be traced along with proof of arrival.

Prices

While we take great care to ensure our prices are correct at the time you place your order, prices can change as stock arrives. If this happens we will contact you giving you the chance to cancel your order or pay the difference.

We reserve the right to alter/change prices without notice.

All prices are UK GBP.

We do offer prices in US Dollars and Euros – these are based on the current exchange rate against the £.

Postage

We currently send most orders over £15 for free (Applys to UK orders only) if you are buying from outside of the UK please contact us for postage costs.

Orders under £15 cost £2 postage within the UK. Overseas customers price is now based on weight of product so your cost will appear at checkout. However some of the heavier products we sell may include a postage surcharge that is included in the price of the item, so the price you see will be the total delivered price.

This postal surcharge will be made clear on the products description.

If you are ordering multiple items this surcharge may be removed by us if the other items help to cover the postage costs.

Please Remember your item is insured free by the Post Office only upto £39 including postage.If you are buying high value items you may wish to purchase extra insurance to cover the higher value.

We reserve the right to alter our Postal Charges as we see fit and without notice, however charges for orders already placed will be honoured.

Returns, Lost Items, Damages, and Missing Parts

Damages - If you receive your item damaged please notify us within 48 hours.

We do not consider damaged or dented boxes as a damaged kit only the contents of the box.

We reserve the right to repair or replace the complete kit or kit part as we see fit.

Lost/Missing Post

You should receive your item within 1-3 days after  your order has been dispatched.

If however you believe that your item has gone missing, please follow these guidelines:

Please check with your local collection office (we find most parcels that have not been delivered end up there before being returned to us). Even if you have not been left a Royal Mail calling card by the postman we still urge you to check there first. Remember to take some form of I.D with you.

If you are not sure where the local collection office is please ask your local post office for directions.

The post office do not consider a Parcel missing until 15 working days have lapsed (not including weekends) from the date of despatch . so we have to wait for this time span to elapse before we can refund or replace your item and we can only refund or replace upto the insurred amount.

Please remember your item is insured free by The Post Office only upto £39 including postage. Unless you have bought extra insurance to a higher value.

Returns & Change of Mind

If you decide the model you have ordered is not for you or have made a mistake you may return your kit to us as long as we are notified within 48 hours and the kit is returned within 14 days unopened as you received it in saleable condition.

Once a returned item is received we will check it and then book it back into our stock system. We will then send you a credit note for the value of the item less a 10% handling fee. All postage costs will be the responsibility of the customer.

Please be aware we cannot offer any kind of refund if the item arrives back to us damaged or in an unsalable condition. Please note: by confirming an order you accept the above terms and conditions of sale.

Coupon Offers

If you have received a coupon from ask-models.com and use it to obtain a discount, the following Terms and Conditions for Use of Coupons shall apply:

There is a limit of one coupon per order.
A coupon can only be used for one order.
A coupon cannot be used in conjunction with other discounts or promotions.
A coupon cannot be applied to past purchases. A coupon has no cash value.
Coupons may not be combined.
All expiration dates on a coupon are firm. Please plan accordingly.

Coupons and/or coupon codes may only be used for sales conducted via the ask-models.com Online Shop.
Ask-models.com reserves the rights to cancel promotions with coupons at any time.
